We have breakfast and head towards Chandame. We arrive back home at 11:00am, drop off the guests and drive to Pastor Dzonzi funeral (he was a pastor at Chandame). Wayne and some of our local laborers remove our bakkie’s diff. We arrive home at 18:00 to the smell of an amazing dinner done by Lynette and Amber. The two of them also had socialized with our Youth Choir. They sang with the choir and also learned them new songs. Currently, our Youth choir practices every Tuesday and Saturday afternoon.

Amber assists us at the clinic. Being a 6th-year medical student adds great value to the clinic session. Lynette assists with bandaging wounds. The Chisomo knitting group meet up with Amber at 16:00 for a knitting session. Josh Generation sent a ton of wool gifts for the group and the ladies are very excited. Wayne assists Jannie in doing all the small chores that Jannie does not get around to. These include installing a cupboard in the kitchen, breaking down a wall so that the freezer can stand in the kitchen, wiring the fridge and parts of our bedroom and finally fixing our broken kitchen window.

We head towards Madibe (one of our prayer houses). Jannie takes the tractor and wagon and we follow with 2 bakkies. We worship with the congregation and show them a Jesus film. We share our medical supplies and Pastor Antonia preaches. Pastor Joshua serves as a translator and also introduces our guests to the congregation. We share a meal of “enzima” (fish) and relish. After the meal, we head to our farm, Mali Madzi

She fell in the fire after a recent epileptic attack and needs professional assistance. Wayne and Lynette head back to Tete. Amber will head back to South Africa on Sunday and Wayne and Lynette will follow on Monday. We had a great time with them at Chandame and will really miss them. They were a god sent and invigorated new life into our challenging mission here in northern Mozambique. A big thank you to Lance of Josh Generation that made their visit to us possible. Hennie and Elsabet depart after lunch. We thoroughly enjoy their company.

Psalm 84: Verses 5-12 – “Blessed is the man whose heart is set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the valley of Baca, they make it a spring; the rain also covers it with pools. They go from strength to strength. Each one appears before the Lord of Zion……“
Thank you, Lynette for the Scripture!
THANK YOU FOR ALL THE PRAYERS!!!
