On four occasions we bought chicks in June. They do eat a lot and grow fast. Every six weeks, we can buy a new batch.
Jannie did some repair work on pastor Antonios motorcycle.
We sold 25 bags of yellow mealies, and with the money we received, we were able to pay the annual taxes on the farm. Mwala Madzi’s vision is to be self sustainable and give a tenth of the income on the farm towards Kingdom work. We are strongly progressing in that way and are very excited about that.
In middle June we started working on a new road to the farm. Jannie was on the tractor with the scraper and Dennis was on the TLB. The distance to the farm will be 7 km shorter with the new road.
We are still not allowed to have church gatherings and services, and pastor Antonio does house to house ministry. The scripture he uses for encouragement, is Mathew 7:7 – “Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened for you.
At the clinic I only treat injuries and malaria cases.
